The Brief
The client needed a kickass website where he could showcase his bandsaw machines. The user would be able to learn more about each product and be able to freely download a PDF manual of said product. The site would not feature products to be sold at all, so no e-commerce capabilities were needed.
The Solution
I implemented a simple, yet beautiful design into the Codeigniter PHP framework, making use of the latest CSS3 features (the Apple-like zoom retina effect proved to be the cherry on top of the cake). I additionally created a custom backend where we could easily update each product, add new ones and manage pages - a very crude CMS backend, if you will. And all it took was HTML, CSS, PHP and some jQuery - everything custom-made.
