The Brief
Project PlanetNeutral is an environmental initiative from SustainableAdvisors.com. After working together with them to create their entire visual identity for PlanetNeutral, they asked me to create a visually appealing online presence for them. The website itself was intended to be as simple as possible, with the content fitting into just one page. That one page however needed to be brilliant in every way.
The Solution
My solution was to make use of a web framework that would ease any improvements and additions I would make to the website along the way. You would thing that a CMS like Wordpress would work best, but for a one-page website, Wordpress provided too much. I decided to go without a CMS, and instead chose Codeigniter, my PHP framework of choice. The coding itself was done with pure HTML and CSS combined with some creative use of jQuery and jQuery UI.
