The Brief
Germicor.ro already had a simple website that showcased their products. The website was built using pure HTML and CSS, with no backend, which made it incredibly painful to update. Needless to say, the client was always working with a developer for even the smallest changes like prices or new products added. Their main requirement was a powerful backend that he could understand and work with himself, thus eliminating a middle-man.
The Solution
The obvious solution was the open-sourced community edition of Magento, with its simple backend that almost anyone could work with. Being the through designer that I am, I pitched the client with a new redesign of his website to fit current market standards. The layouts came out amazing and the web design project itself was an incredible success, both with the client and within the design community.
