The Brief
Appbite.com was a personal project of mine. The website provided iPhone and iPod Touch application reviews and put developers and users in touch with one another. Developers could submit their application for review at no cost, choose to advertise on the website or on they weekly newsletters and also get a chance to talk to users whenever they posted a question or comment on the website.
The Solution
The website has undergone several modifications and designs, coming to a halt after eight continuous months of development. My first inspiration was TechCrunch and moved on to something original and inspiring. The current design uses several jQuery techniques and WordPress plugins. The website grew steady from a small pool of users to a steady community in just a couple of months. It?s only lack of time and resources that have led me to postpone its further development.
